The Association and the Union conducted a shop steward training for officials in the Mount Kenya region, 29 participants were trained. They were taken through the following topics; Labour Laws -Employment Act, organizing skills for union officials and the CBA

 Managers in the Mount Kenya region were also not left out, a training session was conducted in the month where 12 managers were taken through a session on the following topics; CBA, Crisis Management, Labour Laws (Employment and Labour relations Act), Finance for Non- Finance Managers.

Works committee representatives in the South Coast also underwent training on Labour laws and the CBA training. The three day meeting was held at Nyali International Beach Hotel. 36 officials were trained.

These trainings are supported by the 0.5% kitty on service charge. We urge members who have not started remitting into the kitty to do so to benefit from these training opportunities.
