The Tourism Regulatory Authority undertook a one week refresher course for the East African Hotel Assessors to prepare them for the Hotel Classification exercise which is due to take place next year. KAHC was represented by Leah Ng’ang’a and Sam Ikwaye.

Guest Speakers at the training included: Mr. Chris Modigell, Mr. Harald Kampa and Mr. Mohammed Hersi.

As part of the refresher course, the Assessors carried out a mock classification exercise on some of the member hotels on the South Coast.
