The Nairobi County through NEMA commissioned a study to look at the Noise levels in the city, water quality standards especially the Nairobi River, waste management in the City of Nairobi, with the aim of ensuring that the city of Nairobi is a safe and serene place to do business and to live in.

It is in light of this back ground that the Association attended a one day forum at the Utalii Hotel to discuss the report and come up with a way forward on environmental issues in the city of Nairobi.
