Kenya Wildlife Service convened a meeting with NGOs that are involved in Wildlife with the aim of exploring on how best the Service can collaborate with the sector in terms of synergistic relations and challenges as it goes about to implement the 2012- 2017 strategic plan.

This was the inaugural meeting under the new director and participants agreed to set up a working group which could look at the issues more critically, organise for future meetings and design the format of how the engagement should be going forward.  This is an attempt by KWS to bring on board all player in Wildlife matters with the aim of working together to better the sector.
