In an earlier memorandum prepared by tourism stakeholders to Mombasa County governor when he was hosted by the association, Security was among the key concerns. The National Vice Chairman and Executive Officer Coast were among the delegates invited at the unveiling of the first batch of the state-of –the art security vehicles. A fleet of fourteen other security vehicles were expected at the Mombasa Port.

The vehicles will be monitored from two control rooms- one at the Police headquarters and another at the Inspectorate in Tudor. It is hoped that this move will go along way in enhancing security in the county.
