The Kenya Association of Hotelkeepers and Caterers is the principal umbrella body that brings together hotels, lodges, restaurants, tented camps, resorts, airline caterers and prominent conference facility providers. The association advocates for a good business environment to ensure growth of the hospitality industry.
One of the roles of the Association is to create a common bond for stakeholders in the hospitality industry, and in this regard, KAHC will hold its inaugural Finance Conference on 28th-29th March 2019 at Turtle Bay Beach Club in Watamu, Kilifi County. It is expected that those in attendance will share thoughts on salient issues affecting the Accounting and Finance function in the hospitality industry, and chart a way forward to arrive at a common strategy on the matters, at the same time the forum will provide an excellent networking platform for participants. The conference targets Finance Directors, Finance Managers, Financial Controllers, Chief Accountants and other professionals who handle the hotel Accounting and Finance function.
The Conference will focus on;
- Taxation in the Hospitality industry: Corporation Taxes
- The role of ICT in Finance and Accounting in the hospitality industry
- Pension Management
- Ethics and Integrity at the Workplace
- The NHIF Act
- Health and Wellness, among others.

The charges are Kshs. 30,000 per delegate. This rate is inclusive of 2 nights accommodation (Half Board) and 2 days conference package. We are working with ICPAK to ensure those who are members obtain CPD points to be determined.
